Hey Golden bears! This past homecoming was a success with our football game, spirit week, and the pep assembly. Congrats to our Varsity Football team with a great defeat against Dimond and a final score of 50-31! For the month of October we will be holding a door decorating contest, dressing up on halloween for spirit points, Pink Day for Breast Cancer awareness and selling boo-grams.   From the Bear Den: Congratulations to our own Ethan Falaniko for winning the offensive player of the year in the CIC! That is a great award for a great individual.   The Bartlett Tennis Team played tremendously well at the Region Tournament this weekend. Bartlett fielded its first full team at Regions since 2007. The last time that happened Bartlett’s #1 Boys Doubles team comprised of freshman Wyatt Chadwick and Thane Hatcher were 6 years-old. The girls doubles teams of Helen John/Livier Vargas and Cheng Her/Yinelkis Rosario played great.  So did the boys #2 doubles team of Timothy Alex and Liam Walton.  William Wood, Paul Yang, and Syerra Powell played great in singles. Bartlett’s Mixed Doubles Team of Michael Speziale and Elise Wood played the … Read More

  From the Bear Den: On Friday night, your Lady Golden Bears varsity volleyball team dispensed of West in 5 sets.  Congrats ladies on raising the bar this season and beating teams we are not used to defeating.  Keep that train rolling! Also on Friday night at the pool, the Jarupakorn sisters and company were up to their winning ways again.  Wanlaya won two individual events: the 200-yard IM and the 100 butterfly.  Christine won the 100 yard backstroke.  And the relay team of Wanlaya, Christine and Catherine Jarupakorn along with Jenna Beverlin won both the 200 and 400 yard freestyle … Read More

From the Golden Bear Den: Your Lady Golden Bear flag football team avenged an earlier loss to South by beating them on Tuesday night by the score of 13-7. Congratulations ladies! Your Lady Bear varsity volleyball team showed some serious character traits in their win over Chugiak last night. They lost the first two games 25-22 and 25-21, but ROARED back to win the next two 25-17, 25-23 and force a fifth game, which they won in a very closely contested match 18-16.   From the Bear Den: Your Golden Bear Varsity football team ran over another opponent, this time the West Valley Wolfpack, by the score of 76-34.  Congratulations gentlemen on coming to play no matter how much snow was on the ground!   The Bartlett Tennis Team fought an epic battle Tuesday against our Eastside rivals, the East High Thunderbirds, for the Roys Cup, the East side traveling trophy.  The Bartlett tennis team played its best match of the year.  William Wood and Timothy Alex played a tremendous doubles match.  Syerra Powell won in straight sets at girls #2 singles.  Maren Chadwick won a grueling 3 set match at Girls #1 singles in her typical grinding style.  Helen John and Grace Marroquin played a tremendous match to win #1 girls doubles in 3 sets.  Liver Vargas and Janelkis Rosario won Girls #2 doubles.  … Read More
